September 8th and 9th 2023

The Big Iron Classic is held each fall the first weekend after labor day in Kasson, MN. The event is usually the first weekend in September. Some of the best looking trucks and trailers in the country make the pilgrimage to this small Midwestern town. The Big Iron Classic is the Midwest's largest "Working Class" truck show and one of the local area's largest charity contributors of toys.

There is no charge to the public for any events except the truck pull. However, we encourage you to show your appreciation and support for our event by contributing a toy or two in one of the collection boxes.

Truck Pull is Saturday evening at 6:00pm.

Admission to the tractor pull for the general public is $10.00 per person Tickets go on-sale at 4:30pm the day of the event only.
NO ADVANCED PUBLIC TICKET SALES

Ages 13 and older. Kids 12 and younger will be admitted free with a paid adult.

Pit passes are available at registration for $20.00. No children under the age of 14 in the pit area. For safety reasons Families with children in the pits must stay in fenced in area of pits.

Truck Pull

The truck pull is the hi-light of the weekend. Come and watch as these big diesel trucks compete to pull a weighted sled as it digs deeper into the track the further it is pulled. This year's bragging rights are up for grabs again!

Every year this event is a complete sellout. This year will be even better as we will have several classes in the truck pull along with the "King of the hill"; a pull-off with the champions in each class; excluding Antiques. A winner's trophy is awarded in each class.

Trucks On Display

The Big Iron Classic is a Friday and Saturday Event. During that time there are over 700 semi-truck tractors and trailers on display. Truckers from all over the country come to display their working and show rigs. Bobtails, custom combos and much more to see!

Truck viewing on Friday begins at 9am and runs to 7pm

On Saturday viewing is from 9am - 5pm

Live Entertainment

Friday and Saturday night there is live entertainment from 9pm to 1am. This is a time to sit back and relax. Met a few old friends and make new friends. The public is invited to all of the events.

Parade

Saturday there is a "Parade Of Big Rigs" through the town of Mantorville. Mantorville is located a mile North of Kasson where the Big Iron Classic is held. The parade travels to Byron and arrives in Mantorville around 3:30pm.

Light Show

Friday night beginning at dusk, all the big rigs run their lights creating a stunning multicolored light show. The light show runs for a couple of hours and is a sight to see. This event is open to the public.
